Leadership

Dr. Edward Ghafari (Linkedin) founded iCES Corporation in 2007 and leads it as CEO. He has more than 35 years of leadership experience across technology startups, Fortune 500 companies, the military, and federal programs, with work spanning AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Agentic AI, Digital Engineering (MBSE), Quantum Computing, and digital transformation. He has led large-scale government programs, holds patents in ADSL and internetworking, and advises on AI governance and strategy.

Edward is a Professor of Engineering, AI/ML, and Cybersecurity, and an AI Research Engineer at the George Washington University School of Engineering & Applied Science and serves on its National Advisory Council. He has studied and conducted research at MIT, UC Berkeley, the George Washington University, and UPenn Wharton.
